ASU has its place among the top 3% of world’s universities by being presented in all reputable international rankings fulfilling the various scopes and methodologies. According to CWTS Leiden ranking, ASU is the 576th internationally, 8^th in Africa and second in Egypt. This confirms the international outlook and reputation of ASU.

Also, ASU is the first and only governmental university in Egypt to get rated with an overall 5 stars with 5 stars in teaching, online learning, academic development, internationalization, employability, social responsibilities, and inclusiveness according to the prestigious QS stars rating system which reflects the strength of the university in different aspects.

Aligned with the United Nations SDGs and Egypt Vision 2030, Education Strategies and Research Center has built ASU strategy based on the desire to continue excellence and leadership by paying attention to quality education with diverse academic programs that comply with the requirements of the labor market, creating a learning environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, internationalization and strengthening the collaboration with our strategic partners.

OUR VISION

Achieving leadership, excellence, and competitiveness in the educational process at Ain Shams University on both the regional and global levels through the development and management of an integrated innovative system of curricula, teaching and learning methods, assessment, e-learning, and educational research.

OUR MISSION

The continuous development of teaching and learning strategies at Ain Shams University and the advancement of the educational research system to ensure the delivery of an educational and research service that embraces creativity and innovation in curriculum development, learning methods, assessment, and educational research to improve the quality of the educational process and the competency of graduates to meet labor market needs. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the efficiency of faculty members by equipping them with modern specialized skills to keep pace with global trends in education, ensuring the advancement and excellence of university education and its outcomes.

Objectives

EDUCATION STRATEGIES & RESEARCH CENTER Aims To:

1- Enhancing Academic Programs at the Undergraduate (Bachelor's) and Postgraduate Levels to ensure competitiveness with international universities in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030, while adapting to future advancements by:

Developing teaching and learning strategies at Ain Shams University and establishing effective monitoring mechanisms.
Creating a stimulating educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Advancing curricula, teaching and learning methods, and assessment techniques to align with modern trends and the challenges of the 21^st century.
Introducing distinguished programs tailored to the evolving job market needs brought about by scientific and informational revolutions.
Building a professional learning community that supports both faculty members and students by providing capacity-building programs to enhance their teaching, professional, and technological skills, along with offering consultations and support services.
Implementing and promoting the effective use of modern educational technologies in teaching, assessment, e-learning, and distance learning, while ensuring continuous monitoring, evaluation, and development of the applied systems in line with national and international standards.

2- Advancing Educational Research to Support the Higher Education System by:

Planning, implementing, and supporting educational research to improve education based on global trends and leading international experiences, thereby enhancing the quality of educational research at Ain Shams University.
Developing a future research roadmap to guide the progress of educational research.
Strengthening the role of research in improving the educational process and its quality, with a focus on applied research that effectively contributes to curricula, teaching methods, assessment techniques, and the integration of technology in education.

3- Strengthening International Cooperation in Various Educational Fields and establishing international agreements to enhance strategies, policies, and mechanisms for teaching, learning, and assessment in higher education.
