About The Unit

Central unit for development of postgraduate programs looks forward to achieving leadership and excellence through establishment of innovative research environment and building distinguished postgraduate programs.

The establishment of the unit was approved by the University Council in July 2021 within the organizational structure of Education Strategy Administration with the aim of supporting graduate programs, international trends and the latest methods of learning and assessment.

The central unit for the development of postgraduate programs adopts building programs that ensure the acquisition of modern specialized skills to suit global trends and the university’s goals, and prepare scientific and research cadres capable of facing contemporary problems and meeting the needs of the labor market.

Meet The Team

our Activities

In the previous period, the following activities were carried out:

Strengthening the e-learning units in all faculties with a person responsible for the postgraduate programs in preparation for the application of the Learning Management System (LMS), and holding a meeting with them to find out the needs of each faculty.
A training on LMS was conducted in coordination with the central unit of e-learning.
Entering and reviewing the bylaws for postgraduate programs on the University Management System (UMS).
Establishing a pilot LMS for postgraduate programs for the faculty of Education and using it as a guiding model for the rest of the faculties.
Create and distribute a file to compile a tree of courses and postgraduate programs in the various colleges.
In cooperation with the Central Unit for Measurement and Evaluation, situation analysis of utilizing Qorrect question banks program and Remark electronic correction program in the faculties at the postgraduate level were evaluated and recommendations were raised to enhance their use in the faculties.
